Tsunami Carbon Shield II Rods
The Tsunami Carbon Shield II Rods are constructed out of a one piece 100% carbon fiber feather light IM7 graphite blank with D16 Nanotech technology. The Tsunami Carbon Shield II series is outfitted with top of the line single foot Alps S-6 Guides. The 8ft Extra Heavy is equipped with standard double foot S-6 Alps guides. The premium cork grips provide comfort and durability to the rod. Another great feature on this Carbon Shield II rod is the anodized aluminum reel seat with stainless steel hoods and custom locking ring. The one piece, 100% carbon fiber blanks are strong, resilient, powerful and light weight to make casting, hooking and fighting big fish a breeze.
A tip strength increase of thirty percent and greatly improved sensitivity are just two of the important benefits found in the TSUNAMI™ Carbon Shield II rods.
Premium Grade A cork grips, contoured split reel seats, braid ready, single foot, braid ready aluminum oxide ring guides and performance tuned actions are standard features of these premuim rods to assure the best of modern fishing rod design. Technology consists of multi-directional layers of IM7 carbon fiber that have been injected with nano resin and wrapped in 8 different angles which evenly disperse the flexural force in 16 directions. This combination provides an extremely lightweight blank that resists twist and adds hoop strength.
