A wonderful example of the creativity involved in hand making snowshoes. Unique craftsmanship - and extra rawhide wrap around the frame indicate these were for deep Winter use. Everything about their design suggests daily use - from the nice thick raw hide lacing to the durable wooden frames -these snowshoes were built to take some rugged use.
